Our Japan Expo 2025 Experience

We played TopLists with over 3,000 fans at Japan Expo 🥰

For our 3rd year at VAINKEURZ, we brought several concepts based on our ranking lists in head-to-head format 🆚

Here's what we offered over the 4 days:

🎤 A giant TopList of openings on the Také stage
Over 800 spectators, 2nd biggest performance of the convention 🙌

🎁 A duo game to win manga

🍀 Live prize draws every evening to win figurines

🎨 A llama drawing contest, inspired by our logo

🕹️ And the DevineBox!
A sort of reimagined arcade machine, with 10 lamps that light up green and a screen.
The goal? Guess your partner's choices in Disney, Dragon Ball, Harry Potter, Marvel, Nintendo and Pokémon TopLists with the objective of getting the highest score over the 4 days to win a Lego set.

💫 The best story of the convention?
It's Chloé, who won tickets through a contest organized on VAINKEURZ and was able to come to Japan Expo for the very first time with her mum, all the way from the south of France 🥹

💥 Our Wrap-Up
Visitors to our booth left with over 30 figurines, over 500 manga, board games offered by Philibert, and even tablets thanks to XPPen – There were 12 of us over the 4 days running the booth.

It's always special to be able to go from digital between VAINKEURZ.com and Twitch to meeting people in real life. You really get a better sense of the excitement and joy around our TopList concept and it gives the whole team a boost.

📹 We put together a little vlog to capture this year's event that I'm sharing with you here 👉

A huge thank you to Samuel Berthou who, like last year, worked tirelessly so we could offer these activities in the best conditions 👏

And hats off to Thomas Sirdey and Jean-François DUFOUR for creating a convention as legendary as Japan Expo 🎩
