72 ELO points separate Rintaro Okabe from Suzuha Amane at the top of the Steins;Gate ranking, after 743 duels.

Kurisu Makise claims the top spot with 1384 ELO points and a 79% win rate across 29 duels, yet the sharpest divide in the ranking appears one step below her. Rintaro Okabe holds second place at 1319 ELO, creating a 72-point gap before Suzuha Amane enters at 1247. This distance underscores the dominance of the Future Gadget Lab's central figures, with Suzuha trailing despite logging 34 duels. Mayuri Shiina and Itaru Hashida complete the top 5, separated by just 15 ELO points at 1202 and 1187 respectively. The middle tier sees Moeka Kiryu at 1122 and Faris NyanNyan at 1110, while Ruka Urushibara lands in eighth with 1044 ELO and an 18% win rate. The bottom placements suggest the community reserves its favor for characters with decisive agency rather than those characterized primarily by emotional vulnerability or comedic relief.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
