Best anime powers

Super Saiyan – Dragon Ball Z leads the Manga powers ranking with 1357 ELO points over 1865 duels, ahead of Devil Fruit – One Piece and Stand – JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Dragon Ball Z's iconic transformation holds a 31-point lead over One Piece's Devil Fruit system, the sharpest gap at the top of the ranking. Super Saiyan wins 62% of its duels, asserting its dominance in the community's eyes. Yet the close contest between Devil Fruit at 1326 ELO and Stand at 1306 ELO shows how fiercely fans debate the merits of these powers. Nen – Hunter x Hunter sits just 5 points behind Stand, while Death Note – Death Note rounds out the top 5 at 1271 ELO. At the bottom, Ghoul – Tokyo Ghoul trails at 1048 ELO with a 35% win rate, revealing that some abilities struggle to match the popularity of transformation-based powers or strategic systems.

This ranking draws from 17913 duels submitted by 329 players across 18 contenders, updated on 11 October 2026. The tight margins in the top 5 suggest that no consensus has settled yet: each power system brings something distinct to the table, whether raw spectacle or tactical depth. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
