What the community says

16 ELO points separate Tokyo Ghoul Opening 1 – Unravel from Sword Art Online Opening 1 – Crossing Field at the top of the Opening ranking, after 11905 duels.

The gap widens as Tokyo Ghoul's Unravel claims 1329 ELO with a 53% win rate across 761 duels, while Sword Art Online's Crossing Field sits at 1313 ELO after 631 duels. Naruto Shippuden Opening 16 – Silhouette holds third with 1311 ELO despite posting the highest win rate on the podium at 57% over 696 duels. Your Lie in April Opening 1 – Hikaru nara takes fourth at 1304 ELO with a balanced 50% win rate across 730 duels. Attack on Titan Opening 3 – Shinzou wo Sasageyo commands a 63% win rate over 617 duels but lands at fifth with 1297 ELO, suggesting voters recognize its intensity yet hesitate to place it higher. The tight clustering at the top shows how fiercely contested these positions remain. At the bottom, Blue Lock Opening 1 – Chaos ga Kiwamaru struggles at rank 33 with 1002 ELO and a 32% win rate over 566 duels, while Fullmetal Alchemist Opening 1 barely edges ahead at 1058 ELO. The basement reveals how unforgiving voters are toward openings that fail to resonate.

This ranking draws from 11905 duels cast by 101 players across 33 contenders, updated on 10 October 2026. Each duel forces a choice between two openings, and the accumulated verdicts shape the ELO standings. Vote now on VAINKEURZ to challenge Tokyo Ghoul's lead or reinforce the current order.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
