One Piece Red characters ranking

Luffy wins 62% of his duels and tops the One Piece Red drip ranking ahead of Uta.

A 40 ELO point gap separates Luffy from Uta at the summit, the sharpest divide in the top five. Zoro claims third place with 1276 points, followed closely by Shanks at 1272. Robin rounds out the top five at 1243 ELO, maintaining a comfortable margin over the middle ranks. The podium reflects the community's preference for main characters, with the Straw Hat captain and his most recognizable crew members taking the spotlight. Uta, the film's original character, holds her ground at second place despite fierce competition from the franchise's established favorites. The ranking's lower reaches reveal a less forgiving landscape: Jinbe languishes at 1099 points, while Chopper and Brook occupy the eleventh and tenth positions respectively. The bottom three suggests that supporting characters struggle to match the style appeal of their more prominent counterparts, even when their designs carry distinct visual flair.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
