Best Naruto villages

Konoha, the Hidden Leaf Village wins 88% of its duels and tops the Naruto ranking ahead of Kumo, the Hidden Cloud Village.

The 259 ELO points separating Konoha from Kumo at rank 2 reveal the dominance of the Hidden Leaf in the Naruto community. Konoha's 1500 ELO score after 42 duels reflects its status as the series' main setting and home to most beloved characters. Kumo follows with 1241 points and a 51% win rate across 65 duels, then Kiri at 1164 with 52% wins in 64 duels, and Suna at 1148 with 44% wins in 63 duels. These three villages form a tight cluster below the leader, each tested extensively by voters. The bottom of the ranking tells a different story: Iwa languishes at 947 ELO with just 18% win rate across 44 duels, suggesting the Hidden Stone Village failed to leave a lasting impression despite its role in the Fourth Great Ninja War. The gap between Suna at rank 4 and Iwa spans 201 ELO points, marking a sharp drop in community favor.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
