Best Naruto dojutsu

38 ELO points separate Mangekyō Sharingan from Rinnegan at the top of the Naruto ranking, after 8867 duels.

The gap between first and second is the widest in the top 5, with Mangekyō Sharingan holding 1336 points against Rinnegan's 1298. Isshiki's Dōjutsu claims third place at 1289 ELO despite a 46% win rate, the lowest among the top contenders. Just below, Rinne Sharingan sits at rank 4 with 1283 points, while the standard Sharingan rounds out the top 5 at 1279 ELO with a 60% win rate across 229 duels. The podium reflects voters' attachment to the most devastating abilities in the series. The bottom tells a different story: Ranmaru's Kekkei Genkai languishes at rank 10 with 899 ELO and an 18% win rate, trailing the leader by 437 points. Ketsuryūgan fares only slightly better at rank 9 with 966 ELO. The contrast suggests voters favor iconic abilities tied to major characters over techniques from filler arcs or lesser-known clans.

This ranking draws from 8867 duels cast by 407 players across 10 contenders, updated 10 October 2026. The vote remains open: cast your own duels on VAINKEURZ to reshape the standings and push your favorite Dōjutsu higher.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
