Best Rakuzan High players

Seijūrō Akashi leads the Kuroko's Basketball ranking with 1461 ELO points over 41 duels, ahead of Kotarō Hayama and Chihiro Mayuzumi.

A commanding 237 ELO points separate Akashi from Hayama at the top, marking the largest gap in this five-contender ranking. Akashi's dominance extends well beyond his ELO score: an 85% win rate reveals how decisively the Rakuzan captain outperforms his teammates in the eyes of fans. The battle for second place proves far tighter, with just 21 points between Hayama at 1224 and Mayuzumi at 1203, despite both holding identical 52% win rates across 60 duels each. Their neck-and-neck positioning suggests the community remains divided on which Rakuzan player deserves the runner-up spot. At the bottom, Nebuya sits at 1062 with a 33% win rate over 51 duels, while Mibuchi follows closely at 1051 with 34% across 50 duels. These lower win rates indicate the community reserves its strongest affection for Rakuzan's top three players.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
