Volume 1 claims the top spot with 1384 ELO points, nearly 30 points ahead of Volume 24 in second place at 1355. Volume 11 completes the podium at 1337 points. The margin between ranks 1 and 2 represents the sharpest divide in the ranking, suggesting voters draw a clear line between the iconic debut cover and the rest of the field. Volume 1's lead proves all the more remarkable given that Volume 24 wins 63% of its duels, the highest win rate in the top 5, yet still trails behind. The gap between the top and bottom stretches 376 points, revealing a community with strong preferences across Togashi's cover artwork.

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
