Kazuhito Narita69047729 duels later, Yū Nishinoya remains #1 in the Karasuno High volleyball player ranking with 1502 ELO points, Shōyō Hinata trailing in second.
Nishinoya holds a commanding 74-point lead over Hinata, the widest gap in the entire ranking. This cushion speaks to the libero's grip on the top spot after 368 duels and a 69% win rate. Third-placed Tobio Kageyama sits 40 points behind Hinata despite logging 381 duels, the highest duel count in the top three. The setter's 67% win rate shows consistency, but it hasn't closed the gap. Kei Tsukishima claims fourth with 1321 ELO points across 388 duels, while Ryūnosuke Tanaka rounds out the top five at 1303 points. At the opposite end, Kazuhito Narita anchors the ranking at #12 with 714 ELO points and a 16% win rate, the lowest figure among the twelve players. Hisashi Kinoshita sits just above him at 800 points, while Chikara Ennoshita holds tenth with 911 points. The steep drop from the podium to the bottom half suggests a clear divide between Karasuno's standout stars and its depth players.
This ranking draws from 47729 duels cast by 1930 players across 12 contenders, updated on 10 October 2026. Nishinoya's lead looks secure for now, but the gaps remain narrow enough for shifts in the middle tier. Head to VAINKEURZ to weigh in on your favorite Karasuno player and see if Hinata can mount a challenge or if another contender climbs the ladder.

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
