Best Phantom Lord members

Juvia Lockser wins 85% of her duels and tops the Phantom Lord members ranking ahead of Gajeel Redfox.

The numbers tell a clear story: a 168 ELO point gap separates Juvia Lockser at 1575 from Gajeel Redfox at 1407, the widest margin in this ranking. Despite facing fewer duels than Gajeel (34 against 60), Juvia dominates with an 85% win rate that leaves little doubt about fan preference. Totomaru completes the podium at 1284 with 60% of victories across 81 duels, while Aria follows at 1233. The bottom of the ranking reveals mixed feelings about guild master Jose Porla, who sits at rank 7 with 1046 points and a 42% win rate over 77 duels. Boze languishes near the bottom at rank 8 with only 33% wins, suggesting the community remembers some Phantom Lord members more fondly than others.

This ranking draws on 2707 duels cast by 155 players across 9 Phantom Lord contenders, last updated on 10 October 2026. The votes capture a fanbase that clearly gravitates toward certain former antagonists who later joined Fairy Tail, while leaving others in the shadows of the disbanded dark guild. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
