Best Skylanders characters

3 ELO points separate Spyro from Terrafin at the top of the Skylanders ranking, after 4640 duels.

The podium is a war of attrition. Spyro leads with 1321 ELO over 166 duels, but Terrafin sits just behind at 1318, and Trigger Happy matches the pressure at 1316. The tightest margin appears further down: 15 ELO points split Trigger Happy from Zap at ranks 3 and 4, the sharpest drop in the top tier. Stealth Elf rounds out the top 5 with 1300 ELO and a 61% win rate across 140 duels, proving consistency matters as much as raw power. At the bottom, Bash trails at 1049 ELO, sitting 272 points behind Spyro, with Wham-Shell at 1070 and Drill Sergeant at 1086 barely ahead. The gap between dominance and obscurity is stark across the 32 contenders, and the community has drawn clear lines between icons and also-rans. The narrow margins at the summit suggest volatility, but the bottom ranks appear settled.

The ranking draws on 4640 duels recorded by 39 players across 32 contenders, updated on 12 October 2026. Every matchup refines the hierarchy, and with such tight spacing at the top, a handful of votes could reshuffle the leaderboard. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
