20 ELO points separate Gran Turismo 3 from Gran Turismo PSP at the top of the Gran Turismo ranking, after 992 duels.

Gran Turismo 3 and Gran Turismo PSP share the summit at 1289 ELO each, with Gran Turismo 3 clinching first place through a perfect 100% win rate across its 3 duels. The 20-point gap between second and third reveals Gran Turismo PSP's stronger grip on the podium, while the original Gran Turismo claims third with 1269 ELO and an 80% win rate over 5 duels. Gran Turismo 4 follows at 1261 ELO with a 50% win rate across 6 duels, ahead of Gran Turismo 6 at 1257 ELO. The bottom tells a different story: Gran Turismo 5 Prologue sits last at 1080 ELO with a 0% win rate, suggesting players found little to cherish in this preview release. Gran Turismo 2 ranks twelfth at 1114 ELO despite its legacy, while Gran Turismo Concept occupies eleventh at 1132 ELO.

This ranking draws from 992 duels cast by 33 players across 13 contenders, updated on 12 October 2026. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
