Best Genshin Impact Cryo characters

Shenhe wins 61% of her duels and tops the Genshin Impact Cryo character ranking ahead of Ganyu.

The fight for the podium is tight at the top. Shenhe holds first place with 1308 ELO points across 130 duels, but Ganyu trails by just 4 points despite a stronger win rate of 67%. Kamisato Ayaka sits third at 1290 ELO, before a sharper drop: 38 points separate her from Eula at rank 4. This gap suggests a divide between the most beloved Cryo characters and the rest of the roster. Chongyun rounds out the top five with a balanced 51% win rate over 139 duels, showing he holds his ground in the middle of the pack. The bottom tells a different story. Rosaria and Diona struggle in the lower ranks, while Aloy sits last with 954 ELO and a 21% win rate over 94 duels, marking her as the least favored Cryo character among voters.

This ranking draws on 3013 duels cast by 138 players across 10 contenders, updated on 10 October 2026. VAINKEURZ builds its rankings from head-to-head matchups: each duel pits two characters against each other, and every choice reshapes the standings. The data reflects the community's current preferences, not a fixed tier list. If you have a favorite Cryo character or want to challenge the order, cast your own duels and shift the ranking.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
