Best Genshin Impact automatons

713 duels later, Ruin Guard is still #1 in the Genshin Impact Automaton ranking, with Ruin Grader close behind at 1345 ELO points.

Ruin Guard wins 70% of its duels and holds the top position with 1355 ELO points, just 10 points ahead of Ruin Grader at 1345 ELO. The fight for supremacy remains tight between these two mechanical giants, but the sharpest divide in the ranking appears further down. A gap of 146 ELO points separates Ruin Grader at rank 2 from Ruin Cruiser at rank 3, suggesting players draw a clear line between the Automatons they truly enjoy fighting and those that fall short. Ruin Cruiser sits at 1199 ELO with a 47% win rate across 19 duels, while Ruin Destroyer and Ruin Defender round out the top 5. At the bottom, Ruin Scout languishes at 1102 ELO with a 35% win rate over 20 duels, revealing that some encounters fail to spark the same excitement among Genshin Impact players.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
