Best Genshin Impact 5-star characters

Keqing leads the Genshin Impact standard banner ranking with 1286 ELO points over 15 duels, ahead of Jean and Mona.

The electro swordmaster wins 73% of her matchups, establishing a clear 53-point advantage over Jean at rank 2. Jean herself edges ahead of Mona by 24 ELO points, creating a tight race for second place with both characters recording identical 55% win rates across 20 duels each. Below the podium, the steepest drop in the ranking separates Mona from Diluc: 72 ELO points divide third from fourth place, suggesting these five contenders split into two distinct tiers. The top three occupy the leading positions with authority, while Diluc sits at 1137 ELO after 21 duels and Qiqi rounds out the ranking at 1111 ELO with an 39% win rate over 18 duels. The gap between first and last reaches 175 points, underlining how decisively the community values Keqing over Qiqi for team composition.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
