Best Fortnite mobility items

1932 duels later, Shockwave Grenade is still #1 in the Fortnite mobility item ranking, with Grappler close behind at 1388 ELO points.

The top of the ranking reveals a 109-point gap between Grappler at rank 2 and Bouncer at rank 3, the sharpest divide in the top 5. Shockwave Grenade claims first place with 1435 ELO points and a 69% win rate across 62 duels, while Grappler follows at 1388 points despite a higher 71% win rate over 69 duels. Bouncer secures the third spot at 1279 points, ahead of Rift-To-Go and Launch Pad. The bottom three contenders tell a different story: Impulse Grenade, Balloon and Jetpack struggle to convince voters, with Jetpack sitting last at 1041 ELO points and a 35% win rate.

This ranking draws from 1932 duels judged by 76 players across 11 contenders, updated on 11 October 2026. The gap between the explosive mobility of Shockwave Grenade and the tactical pull of Grappler reflects a community split between pure chaos and calculated movement. Jetpack's position at the bottom suggests that sustained flight lacks the instant thrill voters seek in Fortnite mobility items. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
