Best Teletubbies

Po wins 94% of its duels and tops the Teletubbies ranking ahead of Tinky Winky.

A commanding 163 ELO points separate Po from Tinky Winky at the top of the podium, a gap that dwarfs the tight 9-point difference between Tinky Winky and Laa-Laa in third. Po's dominance stands out in a ranking where affection for the quartet proves surprisingly uneven. While the red Teletubby soars with 1357 ELO points, Dipsy trails at the bottom with 1109 points, suggesting that not all residents of Teletubbyland command equal devotion. The narrow middle ground between ranks 2 and 3 shows how closely matched the remaining characters are in the eyes of voters, yet none threaten Po's lead.

This ranking draws on 307 duels submitted by 68 players across 4 contenders, updated on 11 October 2026. The sample size offers a reliable snapshot of community preferences, though the spread of duels per character varies from 16 to 23. Whether Po's lead reflects the character's charm, nostalgia or simply the appeal of being the smallest Teletubby remains open to interpretation. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
