Best Peaky Blinders characters

Tommy wins 80% of his duels and tops the Peaky Blinders ranking ahead of Arthur, who holds second place with 1278 ELO points.

The podium reveals a clear hierarchy within the Shelby family preferences. Tommy dominates with 1464 ELO points, building a 186-point advantage over Arthur in second. John secures third place at 1233 ELO, but the ranking's sharpest divide appears just below: 203 points separate John from Finn, who lands at fourth with 1030 ELO. This gap suggests voters draw a firm line between the core brothers and the younger Shelbys. Michael closes out the ranking at fifth with 994 points, his 23% win rate pointing to a character who divides the fanbase more than he unites it. Tommy's 80% win rate across 35 duels confirms his status as the undisputed favorite, while Arthur's 57% win rate over 37 duels shows he commands respect without matching his brother's appeal. John completes the top three with a 55% win rate across 40 duels.

This ranking draws from 583 duels involving 86 players who compared these 5 Shelby clan members. The figures reflect preferences recorded as of 11 October 2026. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
