Best Lost in Space characters

107 ELO points separate Don West from Judy Robinson at the top of the Lost in Space ranking, after 427 duels.

Don West dominates with 1381 ELO points and a 79% win rate across 14 duels, pulling far ahead of second-placed Judy Robinson at 1274 points. The gap between them exceeds the distance from Judy to fourth-ranked Will Robinson, underlining Don West's command of the podium. Penny Robinson holds third with 1217 points, completing a top three that features no Robinson parents. That absence speaks volumes about community preferences: Maureen and John Robinson sit in fifth and eighth respectively, with John scraping the bottom at 1095 points and a 25% win rate across 12 duels. The Robot, often a fan favorite in the franchise's history, sits seventh with just 1107 points and wins only 31% of its 13 duels. Dr Smith occupies sixth place at 1153 points, ahead of both The Robot and John Robinson but trailing the younger generation by a substantial margin.

This ranking draws on 427 duels judged by 29 players across 8 contenders, updated on 12 October 2026. The data captures a clear preference for the crew's younger members and their ally Don West over the family's authority figures. Cast your vote to shift the standings or cement Don West's lead.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
