Best PlayStation 5 colors

67 ELO points separate Cosmic Red from Midnight Black in the PlayStation 5 ranking, after 527 duels.

Galactic Purple leads with 1281 ELO points, winning 69% of its duels over 13 head-to-head matchups. White/Black follows at 1253 points with a 62% win rate, while Cosmic Red sits third at 1246 points. The sharpest divide appears between ranks 3 and 4, where Cosmic Red's 1246 points create a 67-point gap over Midnight Black's 1179. This drop marks the clearest preference break in the ranking. Starlight Blue holds fifth place at 1159 points despite facing 16 duels, the most of any contender. Nova Pink anchors the bottom at 1080 points, suggesting the community gravitates toward deeper cosmic tones rather than softer pastels. The tight race at the top shows no single color dominates decisively, while the gap before Midnight Black reveals where enthusiasm starts to fade.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
