Best PSG logos

The 2013- crest wins 75% of its duels and tops the PSG ranking ahead of the 2002-2010 and 2011-2013 design.

The modern era dominates this visual contest. The 2013- crest leads with 1469 ELO points over 73 duels, while the 2002-2010 and 2011-2013 version follows at 1391 points after 91 duels. A sharp 119-point gap separates these two designs from the 2010-2011 crest at rank 3, which scores 1272 points over 96 duels. The 1982-1986 and 1987-1990 design sits at rank 4 with 1246 points after 101 duels, narrowly ahead of the 1996-2002 version at 1237 points over 99 duels. The middle of the ranking shows tight competition, with designs from different decades clustered within a narrow ELO range. At the bottom, the 1970-1972, 1986 and 1986-1987 crests struggle to gain traction, with the last-placed design winning just 24% of its 71 duels and scoring 940 ELO points. The ranking reveals a clear preference for contemporary branding over the club's earlier visual identities.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
