Best rap album covers

BLO – 13 Block wins 61% of its duels and tops the Fifou ranking ahead of JVLIVS – SCH.

The podium holds tight at the top, with only 14 ELO points separating BLO – 13 Block at 1333 from JVLIVS – SCH at 1319. The sharpest drop comes between ranks 3 and 4, where Dans la légende – PNL holds a 25-point edge over Noir D**** – Youssoupha at 1272. Despite sitting fifth, 100 visages – Leto shows the lowest win rate in the top 5 at 46%, making its position a fragile one compared to the more dominant performances above it. At the bottom, Monument – Alkpote struggles at rank 12 with just 1004 ELO points and a 27% win rate, the weakest showing in the entire ranking. The gap between the top and bottom reveals a community with distinct preferences, where certain album covers command clear visual appeal while others fail to connect.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
