Best Iron Man armors

1248 duels later, Mark XL is still #1 in the Iron Man armor ranking, with Mark LXXXV and Mark XLVI close behind.

Mark XL dominates with 1431 ELO points and a 75% win rate across 126 duels, but the contest for second place tells a different story. Mark LXXXV and Mark XLVI sit tied at 1343 ELO, separated only by their win rates: 68% for Mark XLVI against 62% for Mark LXXXV. The 88 ELO points between first and second place mark the sharpest gap in the top 5, suggesting Mark XL commands clear respect from voters. At the bottom, the ranking reveals a fondness for complexity over origins: Mark I lands at #15 with just 931 ELO and a 23% win rate, while Mark II fares only slightly better at 967 ELO. The cave-forged prototype that started it all struggles to compete with the technologically advanced suits that followed.

The ranking draws on 1248 duels submitted by 31 players across 15 Iron Man armors, updated on 12 October 2026. Whether you favor the sleek versatility of the Mark XL or the battle-tested design of the Mark LXXXV, your vote shapes the outcome. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
