UGC Policy — User-Generated Content (VAINKEURZ)

1) Purpose

This policy describes the rules governing content posted by users on VAINKEURZ hereinafter the “Content” ), as well as the procedures for reporting and moderating such content.
It supplements the Site’s Terms of Use.

2) Scope

The following are considered Content, including:

  • top lists, rankings, titles, descriptions;
  • related comments and messages;
  • images/illustrations, avatars, and any files or content posted by the user (if applicable).

3) Publication Guidelines

VAINKEURZ a platform focused on pop culture and entertainment. Users agree to post Content:

  • loyal, respectful, and in keeping with the spirit of the Site (fun, friendly);
  • in compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
  • without infringing on the rights of third parties.

The user remains solely responsible for the content they post.

4) Prohibited Content

It is prohibited to publish, transmit, or make available any Content, in particular when such Content:

4.1 Is illegal or harmful to individuals

  • defamatory, abusive, harassing, humiliating, or threatening content;
  • incitement to hatred, discrimination, or violence;
  • glorification of crimes, violence, or dangerous behavior;
  • content that is sexually explicit or harmful to minors.

4.2 Infringes on the rights of third parties

  • infringement of copyrights, trademarks, related rights, and trade secrets;
  • violation of the right to one's image or privacy (e.g., publication of a third party's personal information without authorization: name, email address, physical address, phone number, social media accounts, etc.);
  • impersonation or misrepresentation of the origin of the Content.

4.3 Interferes with the proper functioning of the Service

  • spam, unsolicited commercial messages, malicious links;
  • attempted intrusion, automated or large-scale data extraction, circumvention of technical measures;
  • artificial manipulation (multiple accounts, behavior intended to skew votes, rankings, or results).

4.4 Is off-topic or at risk of straying from the subject

VAINKEURZ the right to moderate or remove Content:

  • too far removed from pop culture and entertainment topics;
  • that are likely to lead to abuse (content that divides people or incites hateful or abusive reactions), even if it is not necessarily illegal.

5) Specific Rules — Images and Illustrations

If the user posts an image or illustration:

  • he warrants that he holds the necessary rights (license, authorization, public domain, etc.);
  • he agrees to comply with the terms of use of third-party websites or image libraries, if applicable;
  • It agrees to remove or update any Content in the event of a claim based on the rights of a third party.

6) Reporting content

Any user or third party may report Content that they believe to be illegal or non-compliant.

To help us process your request, please provide the following:

  • the URL of the Content (or an identifier / screenshot);
  • a description of the issue (defamation, hate speech, copyright infringement, right of publicity, personal data, etc.);
  • any relevant information (proof of ownership of rights in the case of intellectual property infringement, or supporting documentation in the case of image rights or privacy concerns).

7) Handling of reports and moderation

VAINKEURZ take action at any time, particularly in response to a report, to:

  • request a change to the Content;
  • restrict the visibility of the Content (removal from search results/hiding);
  • remove the Content;
  • restrict certain features;
  • suspend or delete an account in the event of repeated or serious violations.

Restrictive measures may be taken in the following cases:

  • content that is clearly illegal;
  • for a violation of the Terms of Service or this policy;
  • abuse or fraud;
  • a serious risk to users or the Service.

8) User Notification and Disputes

When Content is removed or an account is restricted, VAINKEURZ inform the affected user of the reasons for the decision, unless prohibited by law or for security reasons (e.g., fraud prevention, investigations, risk of abuse).

9) Retention and Evidence

  • remove the relevant Content;
  • temporarily restrict certain features;
  • suspend or delete the account;
