Why this logo 🦙💜?

Not a single day goes by without someone stopping me on the street to ask what the VAINKEURZ logo means VAINKEURZ

Clearly, the combination of the purple llama and a smile star + biglouchage – that sounds intriguing!

Okay, now that the dramatic intro is over, I’ll tell you everything—and in just a few lines, I promise, you’ll be thinking:

1️⃣ Why did you choose a lama?

First and foremost, it’s a scientific choice because—as you probably already know—the human body automatically releases dopamine when it sees a llama. We can’t help it; it’s in our DNA 🧬 to love llamas 🦙.

Have you ever met anyone who said, “I don’t like llamas”? That’s impossible. Or maybe they’re confusing them with alpacas, which are the devil’s creatures 👹

Next, a choice from the heart—a llama is cool, it’s gentle, it doesn’t stress out, it loves life on the mountainside, it’s trendy, it’s cute, and and and…

And above all, the llama has a temper. If you ever piss it off, it’ll 💦 on you. Well, we rarely get to that point on VAINKEURZ still—try running a few Top polls with your friends (if you have any—otherwise join our Discord to make some) and you’ll see that things can get heated pretty quickly when people disagree on a vote⚡️.

2️⃣ Why does the lama look like that?

If you’ve got a keen eye (hehe, you’ll catch the reference in a second 👀), you’ll also have noticed that something’s up with the eyes 😝—they’re really squinting, basically.

One eye looks to the left ⬅️ and the other to the right ➡️ The idea is to represent the act of voting: you either click on the option on the left or the one on the right.

And right in the middle of the face, there’s that mouth with crooked teeth—it captures the dilemma you face when you HAVE to choose between two candidates you love 💔

Basically, the two round eyes facing each other represent duels, and when they get too intense, it messes with your head and everything goes haywire in your mind, just like our Lama’s teeth.

3️⃣ Why these colors?

Pink because—drumroll 🥁—I love pink—no pun intended—no joke—no argument—I just love pink 🐽

I’ll admit it’s not exactly a rock-solid justification, but we’ll do better with purple—or maybe not. So we arrived at purple by following these steps:

• What colors go well with bright pink?
  • blue – purple – black 👉 so, mostly dark colors.
• Which of these colors would pair with pink to create a combination original enough to leave a lasting impression?
  • purple 👉 QED

I should add that from age 10 to 18, I’d say “purple” when asked about my favorite color and “Donatello” when asked about my favorite Ninja Turtle (check out my TopList if you don’t believe me)

Sure, I’m replying in pink now, but I still keep purple as my default reply when I want to maintain a bit of charisma.

So, I’m absolutely thrilled to be able to work on a Rose and Violet project every day 🥰

It’s also worth noting that there are no purple mammals in the wild (just Google it if you don’t believe me), which makes our logo even more unique—just like the VAINKEURZ concept VAINKEURZ
