An extremely popular block, which has become emblematic thanks both to the talented illustrators who built it, and to the diversity it contains. The Western version of this block is clearly superior to the Japanese version, thanks in particular to its reverses and the possibility of having some of the most popular Ex cards directly in boosters (and not in promo decks, as is the case with the Japanese Draco Ex, for example).

This block is a total success, both in terms of the seal (which has unfortunately become unaffordable) and the cards. Rarity probably has something to do with it, especially for the stars, featuring virtually all the license's most emblematic Pokemon, with elegance and majesty. These cards, probably the most sought-after in the entire TCG along with the brilliant neo ones, are not the only attraction of the block, however: with no fewer than 100 ex, each more incredible than the last, in a more "menacing" style here, with a new gloss and silver edge, with reverses whose effects are as different as they are breathtaking for each series, with the possibility of shooting 2 "hits" in a booster, with even a huge number of superbly drawn common/ uncommon/ rare illustrations, or with "theme" series that will only be seen again in exceptional cases (sandstorm, the "delta species" series around the holon complex, etc.), there's something for everyone.), there's something for everyone!

But one question has been hanging in the air for many years, and everyone who enjoys this block has asked themselves: which series is the fan's favorite, and which is the community's top pick? There are, of course, a few favorites, such as Hidden Forces, Phantom Holon, Deoxys and Delta Species, as well as outsiders like Rouger Feu Vert Feuille, Créateurs de Légendes and Dragon.
